Avatar: The Way of Water, the long-awaited sequel to Avatar (2009), will finally be released on December 16, 2022. The movie will be directed by James Cameron, who is also known for his other works such as Titanic (1997), Terminator (1984), and Terminator 2: The Judgement Day (1991). Avatar was a critical and commercial success and is currently the highest-grossing film of all time.
The film had a budget of about 327 million dollars (about INR 2498 crore) and made a staggering 2.847 billion dollars (roughly INR 21,391 crore) in worldwide revenue.
